Does it work?
Metadata stripping and steganographic messages are real and effective. Pixel perturbation adds friction to AI training but isn't a silver bullet — it's an arms race. We're building toward ML-powered perturbation that targets specific model architectures.
What about compression?
Instagram and other platforms recompress images. Messages are embedded redundantly to improve survival. Save as PNG and let the platform handle compression on their end.
